General Information Before You Begin

* The names, census dates and other related data was taken from the book “Imprints on the Sands of Time”, requests given to myself and general data I have found in some of my searches. Please be aware, that there may be errors in the following text; due to the transfer of data, mispelling from sources, family information, census records, and more. Not every name is indexed according to their first name. Generally the head of the household is the primary person, and you should note that other members of a family may and are also listed. Please do not look for just a George or Henry Lampman for example. Many of these people used their first or middle name or initial as a preference. If you are looking for a John Lampman, you may well be advised to look for a William J., Stephen J., J. Thomas Lampman, which holds true for the ladies also.

If you find a person with whom you are related, and know of their parents, uncles, aunts or other related individuals, I would appreciate a response from you. I will post the data in RED after their name, and with this help we may be able to confirm someones ancestry and make their day. See several I have already included. If you wish to have your name, email address included, please enclose that for me. If you do not wish to share your information, I understand. I am unsure who may have taken over the database functions to continue the history of Lampmans, so I created this website.
* Most important is the (reference number) within parenthesis of each person. These were assigned by Mr Henry Kelley in his books, following standard genealogical methods. Instead of just saying Peter Lampman, it is much more helpful to use his "reference number" as well. There are many many Peter Lampmans and it will save me a multitude of time on my part as well as anyone who is researching.

I do not wish to intrude on anyones privacy, nor do I wish to profit from your information. I must remind you, the internet data you see is not all my work, but the work of many researchers, and Kelly's book. My goal is to help others, as has Mr. Tom Glad, Ida Pardue, Les Lampman and many others long before me. I apologize to those who do not have a copy of Mr. Kelly's book. I have only my book for my reference, which I purchased from a gentleman, and several copies Henry Kelly gave me before he died. I in turn have mailed them to interested Lampman descendants at no cost but to me. I enjoy helping many who are interested in their ancestry. I will continue to order films for Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and other areas to help others find their past. Most have never been informed I've even done this for them.
